Freedom First

Freedom First is a campaign in partnership with The Freedom Initiative and Amnesty International to educate leaders from throughout the entertainment industry about human rights abuses in Saudi Arabia and the impacts of entertainment-based celebrity-washing. One of the most egregious sources of these abuses is Saudi Crown prince, Mohamed Bin Salman (MBS). Many civil protesters, journalists, and activists have been imprisoned, tortured, and killed by his direction. These crimes are often stifled in the international community under the veil of fancy events and concerts attended by celebrities unaware of or indifferent to the prince’s regime. These are samples of social media posts (twitter and instagram campaigns) and billboards (Sunset Boulevard and Times Square) I created for various campaigns, all aiming to educate the greater public of what is really happening overseas in the wake of MBS.
